Pyro-engraving defines each dragonfly in minuet detail. Colors are added using leather dyes, acrylic
paint, and fine art colored pencils. Iridescent paint is also used to give a gossamer effect to the wings.
The eggs can
be as large as 6" in diameter but usually measure 3- 4". Think goose egg size. They also vary in height and can range from 3- 6".
All gourd eggs have a front and back and includes a stand that is matched to the egg.
