The classes will range from beginner, 1st Thursday of each month to advanced techniques, 3rd Thursday of each month. Thursday classes are compacted into 2 &1/2 hrs. to accomodate busy people.
These classes are scheduled from 6:30 -9:00pm.
Depending on demand, Saturday and Sunday classes may also be available. These classes are popular! Register early!

Beginner Gourd Class
Saturday, March 6th, 2010 10 am -2 pm
Thursday, March 18th, 2010 6:30 - 9:00 pm
Class includes:
Whole uncut gourd to decorate and take home!
Supplies and materials
Beverages and snacks included.
We will cover cleaning and cutting gourds.
Safety first! Hazards of Working with Gourds.

We will learn how to draw or transfer pattern onto gourds using graphite paper and graphite pencils.

Application of finishes including acrylics, leather dyes, ink dyes, translucent pigments and wax.
Intro to pyro-engraving and carving if time permits.

I will be offering classes on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month.
