"Strawberry Bowl with Lid"

This lovely gourd was made for a lady who is crazy for
strawberries. It measures 8" x 7". No stand needed.

The shape is referred to as an "apple gourd".

The lid was jig-saw cut into the shape of strawberry leaves. The body was dyed with Oxblood leather dye and the leaves with variations of green and yellow.

All the pit marks are "burred" into the surface leaving an indentation that was accented by yellow acrylic paint "seeds" all protected with 3 coats of acrylic high gloss.

"Lidded Hummingbird and Monarch Bowl with Nasturtiums"

This gourd was made for a lady who adores both butterflies and hummingbirds. It measures 8" x 7". The shape is referred to as a "cannonball gourd". It is a lidded gourd with the patterns going from the lid through to the body. The body was dyed a tanned leather dye and the rest with variations of leather dyes and paints all protected with 3 coats of acrylic high gloss. $100.00
